It sure is hard getting old. but I sure had a great time getting there! Is what a little lady said to me the other day at work. Ever since then, I have not been able to get it out of my head. What a great, positive way to look at things.

South Africa, February 2015, part 4. After Botlierskop, we stayed in Knysna for the night and then made our way back to the Cape Town area. We went to the very vibrant waterfront area in Knysna where these children were fishing. In the late afternoon sun. We stayed in the Cambalala Guest House which was exceptionally high standard. The owners are charming and the rooms a very good size. With good views over the harbour. 38 deg C in the shade, I do not know.

It has now been almost two weeks since the gathering of hundreds of Ohio educational leaders on the Statehouse steps in Columbus. I was honored to be one of five speakers selected to address the gathering that day. We are here because there is a collective graduation accountability cliff that our kids are being driven ove.
